We are pleased to inform you of an exciting development in the field of qualitative market research. Bureau Fris (specializing in selections and research locations) and Bee Keen (specializing in selections), both renowned agencies, are joining forces for a powerful collaboration that promises a golden future. Today, we discuss this merger with Stephanie Groot, founder and owner of Bureau Fris, and Paulien Ulbrich, founder and owner of Bee Keen.
After the announcement that Augusta wanted to broaden her horizons beyond Bureau Fris, Stephanie indicated that a merger was not out of the question. "From the moment I heard that Augusta would be leaving, it was clear to me that I didn't want to steer the ship alone. I also immediately thought that this could be the perfect time to talk to Bee Keen. Being able to toast with Paulien after just 6 months was very satisfying, and now we can continue building my wonderful company, Bureau Fris."
Paulien agrees that the timing was excellent. "It was actually a logical choice to merge, and with Bureau Fris, I knew right away that we could achieve a beautiful common goal." Thanks to this timing, the merger was finalized within a few months.
With an impressive 45 years of combined experience in the industry, Stephanie from Bureau Fris and Paulien from Bee Keen are not only bringing together their knowledge and expertise but also their extensive databases and fantastic colleagues. "This allows us to serve even more clients and offer all the respondents needed for market research under one roof. From consumers, medical, large and small businesses to more challenging target groups, for which the requests are continually growing. In the future, we can switch gears faster, and our clients, both nationally and internationally, can be well served," says Stephanie.
For Paulien, the merger with Bureau Fris means not only the reinforcement of their experience but also the benefits of joining forces with an ISO-certified company and well-oiled systems. "This opens new doors in serving market research agencies, direct end clients, and international agencies."
One of the most remarkable aspects of this merger is the seamless blending of company cultures. Despite different backgrounds, Stephanie and Paulien separately emphasize the importance of personal contact, taking the lead, and continuous curiosity. These values remain the driving force behind the new Bureau Fris.
With a positive outlook on the future, Stephanie and Paulien see the merger as an opportunity to serve challenging target groups and strive for excellence in market research. They emphasize that the merger is not only a strategic move but also stems from a shared vision of professionalization and growth. "Before the merger, our colleagues would already call each other occasionally for advice, and thanks to various meetings and events, most of them already know each other," says Stephanie.
With new leadership by Stephanie Groot and Paulien Ulbrich, supported by Rien Nijman in HR, Finance, and IT, they look forward to a seamless integration and a successful future as the go-to agency for all target groups. As they say themselves, "Bring on those exciting recruitments or beautiful assignments, we're ready for it!" The facts are clear, but if you didn't know better, you'd think the ladies have been working together for years.
Finally, the entire team of the 'new' Bureau Fris has one message: "We invite you to follow this exciting journey with us. For questions or to get to know us better, we are organizing a New Year's reception, and the invitation will follow soon."
